Inventory

Inventory in no longer just Forest Inventory, and even the collection of timber data requires new training to call both log grades and deductions. The new system is called "Vegetation Resource Inventory" to emphasize that the data collected can be used by a wide range of clients i.e.

We have completed timber and eco-system inventories around the province and we have certified crews who can establish both ecosystem and timber inventory plots.

Cruise Compilations

Since 1985 Dale McLean & Associates is running a cruise compilation service that is serving many of the larger forestry companies and the forest districts in B.C.

We offer a negotiated discount rate for large contracts and we store your data indefinitely in a secure format. Your data is always on file for recompilations and log profile studies.

For a modest additional charge, we will run an appraisal analysis on a cutting permit.

If you have a specialized compilation request, whether it involves partial cuts, lichen abundance, or basal area distribution by species we can provide it. Give us a call for further discussion.

GIS Mapping

We do all our Mapping in Microstation. We offer to do the following type of maps:

If you are interested in specialized applications, call Dale McLean for further discussions.
